IONA: Weekend Wear

Today's the day, look 3 of 3! I love this look for any day time
weekend occasion such as the farmers market or the movies.
This Timo Weiland hoodie is super comfortable with awesome
knit and embroidered detail! I paired it here with the Xirena
Bobby Tee in white, Mother The Looker jean and the Bob
Jéróme Dreyfuss cross body bag in Bordeaux.

Like I mentioned in yesterday's post, IONA is having an epic
denim sale just this month! Get 20% your favorite pair of
Mother's or NSF hand dyed denim OR take a pair of both home
with 30% off both pairs!

While you're in, make sure to check out all the pieces from this
weekend's posts plus all of the other amazing fall pieces.
You're sure to find at least one that you'll want to take home!

A huge thanks to the team at Iona for this fall fashion feature
and my new jeans! It was a pleasure working with you fab
ladies!

IONA: Casual Fridays

Day 2 means look 2 from one of my favorite stores in
Madison, Iona! This monochrome look is perfect for
almost any occasion. Pair it with pumps for casual
Friday, or dinner at your fave restaurant. Or, throw on
your best pair of beaten up sneakers for a day of errands.

One thing that's a must for me is comfort. If I'm not
going to feel comfortable in it, I don't want to wear it.
(there are very few exceptions to this rule) No problem
here. I'm wearing the softest, best fitting Bobby Top by
Xirena. I loved it so much that it is now hanging in my
closet. It comes in 3 colors, so don't worry, there's one
for you too!

This ALC CL Jacket is to die for. Not only does it have
a hint of stretch that makes this light fabric lay perfectly
but it has leather detail... You understand now, right?

The mix of leather, pony hair and suede in this stunning
Jéróme Dreyfuss cross body bag gives this monochrome
outfit (or any outfit for that matter) great little kick!
I love turning your outfit up with cool accessories and
this bag hits the nail on the head.

As long as we were on the topic of comfort, let me talk
about this pair of Mothers. The perfect rise, the right
amount of stretch, simple butt pockets, and the perfect
shade of grey. Jeans that I love aren't easy for me to find,
but I love The Looker Jean in Rebels and Lovers. Thanks
to the lovelies at Iona, they are now a part of my wardrobe
and I think I've worn them every day since I brought them
home. Shhhh... don't tell.

Last but certainly not least, this super cozy Helmut Lang
Lux Jersey Hat goes with practically everything and warms
up this outfit perfectly. I'm a sucker for warm beanies... my
collection is much too large. If you're in need of a(nother)
winter beanie, look no further. I say it's justifiable when
you live in Wisconsin.

IONA: Working Girl

This week(end) I am featuring 3 looks in 3 days from a store
I love: Iona! They were sweet enough to let me pull my 3
favorite looks from their current inventory to feature here on
Those White Walls! It was a tough task to say the least, as
could have pulled the entire store.

Although you may not think of Madison, Wisconsin
as your typical town to find great fashion, it is here and Iona is
one of the places to find it. Located at 807 E. Johnson in Madison,
Iona has something for everyone.  Really... my Bubby was the first
one in my family to make a great purchase from the gem that is
Iona (and the purchases sure did continue) and my mom and I
both love the store as well. There literally is something for
everyone and that is the proof!

I love this first look. It's the perfect transition from a day at work
to a night out. Not only is this Timo Weiland  Chevron Fringe
Tunic sweater dress comfortable and chic but it's formal enough
for work and the fringe makes it fun for a night out too! Pair it
with tights and tall boots like I did here or leather pants and a wool
jacket once it starts to cool down a bit. This sweater dress gives
you comfort and style so effortlessly.

With countless ways to wear
it, you've got yourself a new go to piece if you're off to the office
or a night on the town.

do as the bloggers do.

When Gabby and I first met, we got on the topic of blogging
(because what else do bloggers talk about when they're
together? Just kidding... Kind of) we've both been long time fashion
blog readers, semi recently turned fashion bloggers. We seemed
to agree on quite a few things. One of those being the simple fact that,
blogging is weird.

If you've ever so much as glanced at a fashion blog or browsed
through a blogger's Instagram you may know what we're talking
about... These fab fashion girls who ever so flawlessly look
natural while doing what feels so perfectly unnatural to me.

Let me give you some examples.

So.... How are there always two hands in photos holding your
phone, or in photos of your manicure? Is there constantly
someone following you just to take these unnatural/natural
photos of both of your hands? Maybe? I guess there is.

You're not actually spending time with your fabulous friends
who work for WWD or some other huge publication unless it's on
social media, correct? I guess we better spend our time together
on Instagram so everyone knows we're spending time together...
On Instagram.

Those walking photos... How many times do you have to walk
back and forth to look so effortlessly cool?! Because we took plenty
of steps back and forth and still couldn't get a good (fake)
walking picture...

Does it not feel awkward and embarrassing taking selfies
everywhere? Or maybe we just have to get over that feeling
of awkwardness because honestly, what's not awkward about
what bloggers do?

And lastly, how are you possibly creating all those odd body
positions and looking so cool doing it? For me it's always
that go to pose, then I'm stuck. Teach me your ways?

Don't get me wrong, I love fashion blogs... Leandra, Nicole
Danielle and their effortlessly cool style. Who else can wear
overalls and a bikini and look awesome? As weird as
blogging may be, I keep reading and loving them.
