BOP: winter white

I'm excited to announce that this is part I of III of a fall/winter collaboration with one
of my favorite stores, BOP! I'm making assumptions here BUT, I'm sure (almost) all of
you have heard of shopbop.com? yes? no? Well, what some of you may not know is
it all began here in Madison, Wisconsin with one single retail store, BOP. Cool, right?

BOP is a go-to for us Mad Towner's for lots of reason. First, their selection of denim is out
of this world. Did I say an entire wall of all of your favorite designer denim? Yeah. I did.
Here I am wearing a current love, Frame denim along with a super soft 360 Cashmere
sweater, a statement Rebecca Minkoff leopard print bag and a pair of Karen Walker
sunglasses that I can't get out of my brain.

This is just the beginning of what BOP has to offer to all of you fashionable ladies.
Make sure to pop on into BOP next time you're in downtown Madison to find all of
the pieces I am wearing here plus loads more! I promise you'll find something to take
home with you.

IONA: Weekend Wear

Today's the day, look 3 of 3! I love this look for any day time
weekend occasion such as the farmers market or the movies.
This Timo Weiland hoodie is super comfortable with awesome
knit and embroidered detail! I paired it here with the Xirena
Bobby Tee in white, Mother The Looker jean and the Bob
Jéróme Dreyfuss cross body bag in Bordeaux.

Like I mentioned in yesterday's post, IONA is having an epic
denim sale just this month! Get 20% your favorite pair of
Mother's or NSF hand dyed denim OR take a pair of both home
with 30% off both pairs!

While you're in, make sure to check out all the pieces from this
weekend's posts plus all of the other amazing fall pieces.
You're sure to find at least one that you'll want to take home!

A huge thanks to the team at Iona for this fall fashion feature
and my new jeans! It was a pleasure working with you fab
ladies!

feeling feminine.

Although practically my entire wardrobe is black and grey
and a bit towards the edgy side, I do like to dress a bit girly
here and there... a bit, kind of... barely. I loved the way this
top fit when I found it at BOP, but it had those goofy off the
shoulder sleeves. They made me look like I had wings.
Although I'd love to fly, it was just too weird. But there
must be a solution to every problem, right? I cut the sleeves
off and WA-LA!  A fun, girly, easy to wear tube top.

Looks like we're in for a treat with some warm weather
the end of this week, so pull out your favorite girly tops and
soak up the warm sun while it's still here!

boyfriend dressing

One trend I love but struggle with a bit is dressing like a boy(friend).
At first, I was puzzled by the baggy jeans, baggy shirt look being worn by
all the hottest (tiniest) women in fashion. Why would they want to hide
their amazing figures? I thought to myself. Then I tried on this pair of
J Brands a couple years ago and realized exactly why... What's not to
love about soft, baggy, super comfy jeans? They work any way, with sneakers
or heels, an old t-shirt or silk blouse. Wear em, love em... you can even
dance in em, if you want to.

transitional dressing.

When you wake up in the middle of June and it's barely 60 degrees,
it's kind of tough to decide what to wear. An easy transition outfit
is always the way to go. It keeps you warm enough in the morning and
let's you cool down enough in the afternoon. Open toed shoes, ripped jeans,
a good t shirt, light jacket, a hat and a killer backpack sounded perfect to me.
This is my favorite lightweight jacket. It works with everything
and is nice and comfy. Pair it with a t shirt and you're good to go for
those cooler summer days.
